My name is Nick Usborne and I’ve been a professional writer my whole adult life. I’ve created numerous courses for writers, taken by thousands of students from over 97 different countries.
On top of that, I’ve coached dozens of writers, one-on-one.
Throughout – whether writing for my clients, building courses, or coaching fellow writers – one theme stands out… the power of stories.
Stories are a superpower across all areas of life… at work, at home, and everywhere in between.
Stories are a universal connector. We can all laugh or cry after hearing the same story, regardless of our culture, gender, or age.
For much of my career I’ve focused on the power of stories in the commercial realm. More recently, I’ve found myself paying a lot more attention to stories in our personal lives, particularly within families.
It’s our stories that bind people together in families. It’s stories that endure, connecting one generation to the next.
But for all their power – unless they are recorded and shared – stories can be lost when an older generation passes.
This is what drove me to create this course, Your Awesome Life Story. I want to encourage people to save and share the stories of their lives. I want to provide everyone with the skills and tools to do this well, and now.
